In Liberty, Alexandra Alexandra -- Can you email Robert Alexander right away? I have emailed Robert multiple times and I haven't received a response. Can you make sure Robert sees my email about the just released Reuters Poll showing me in fifth place? This poll is a critical boost heading into the FEC reporting deadline. And we are just short of our $450,000 goal and it's vital I count on Robert's support. So please reach out as soon as possible and pass this urgent message along. -- Rand From: randhpaulmd@yahoo.com To: Robert Alexander [alexanderofyork@yorkteaparty.org] Subject: I'm afraid this is bad news Robert: The status quo equals failure. The American people are FED UP because too many Republicans in Washington treat surrender as the first option. As a result, the Republican nominating contest is wide open. And with just under 10 hours remaining until the September 30th deadline, it's vital you chip in a contribution of $20.16 right away. Robert, I spoke on the Senate floor today about my opposition to the continuing resolution to fund the government. If you want a President who will keep piling on $18 TRILLION in our national debt, there will always be a Bush or a Clinton for you to pick from. The truth is, the continuing resolution rammed through the Senate today was a steaming pile of the same old madness. With a continuing resolution, the Big Government gravy train chugs along. ObamaCare is funded. Planned Parenthood still draws over $500 million in taxpayer money. Many excuses are made for why Republicans must surrender today in order to fight some other time in the future, which never seems to materialize. Thanks to you, Republicans won stunning sweeps of both houses of Congress...but nothing seems to change. The bottom line is, under the plans I've pushed my colleagues to adopt, it would take 60 votes to fund Planned Parenthood. It would take 60 votes to fund ObamaCare. With our nation mired so deeply in debt, this would be a huge step in cutting spending. Republicans' refusal to use the power of the purse has created a grassroots uprising that has already caused John Boehner to announce he is resigning as Speaker of the House at the end of October. And the establishment politicians all the pundits assumed would waltz to the GOP nomination are being rejected by the voters. My campaign has made a TV ad detailing why I'm the one constitutional conservative in this race with a plan to defeat the Washington Machine. I hope you will take a few moments to watch it. After you watch the ad, please chip in a contribution of $20.16 before tonight's midnight deadline.
