Join State Journalism Committee ATP is vice-chairing the new Virginia Tea Party Patriots Committee of Correspondence. The purpose is to communicate Tea Party ideas to Tea Partiers and others. The Committee - Produces the Tea Party Reporter - "best practices, cutting-edge projects, and thought leadership from Tea Parties in Virginia and beyond."
- Continuously builds a 'Tea Party Media' list to go around the mainstream press, and
- Works to place Letters to the Editors and blog posts on salient issues, such as Medicaid expansion in Virginia

Victories - The Wall Street Journal did a front-page story on Jenny Beth Martin and Tea Party Patriots
- An investigative reporter picked up a story discovered by an ATP member. The story dealt with how the government underwrote a left-wing Latino group's annual convention to the tune of $140,000.
- Another investigative reporter wrote a story about Obamacare based on information an ATP member provided.

- ATP Exposes Liberal Bias in the Media - ATP has issued a call to demand that the Society of Professional Journalists reinstate the prohibition against opinion and bias in news stories in SPJ's code of ethics. The article shows a Harvard Press center director taking the absurd position that that the removal of the prohibition against opinion and bias merely reflects a decline in the general culture
