Pete -- If you're like me, you've been looking for something to do since the Dodgers got knocked out of the playoffs. With the World Series starting tonight, it's really important for me to focus on what's good in the world. Here's something: OFA supporters from all across the country are coming together to help friends and neighbors get the information they need about getting covered. When open enrollment for Obamacare starts again next month, we need to be ready to take the field. You should be on the team -- sign up to say you're ready to do your part to help. Helping spread the word about the benefits of getting covered doesn't usually come with trophies. Speaking from experience, though, it's really satisfying to see the impact we're having across the country. When the news broke that millions of people enrolled before enrollment closed last spring, it wouldn't have been too crazy to have popped champagne. Those are real people's lives, and to know you did your part to help is pretty fantastic. There are plenty of ways to help out -- big and small. Maybe you're the kind of person who wants to volunteer at enrollment events. Great! Maybe sharing important information over email or on Facebook is more your speed. That's awesome, too. Point is, there are tons of ways to get involved. It doesn't matter what you do -- it just matters that you do something. Say you'll do your part, and help knock this enrollment period out of the park: http://my.barackobama.com/Make-the-Pledge-for-Obamacare Thanks, Jeff Jeff Gabriel Digital Organizing Director Organizing for Action | |
