Robert -- Think about all you could do with 500,000 hours. That's more than 57 years -- it's how much time OFA supporters pledged to volunteer last spring in the final push to help Americans get health insurance. You should be really proud of that. Of all we've achieved together, it's one of the most direct ways we've helped make people's lives better. This fall, when the next enrollment period begins, we need you on board to do even better. This is a tipping point for health care reform -- make a personal commitment today to do your part for Obamacare. There's a lot of ways you'll be able to help -- whether it's getting out to volunteer at an event, writing a letter to the newspaper to spread the word, or simply fact-checking the naysayers (like your wacky Uncle Fred) on Facebook. The point is that any way you help -- no matter how big or how small -- you're going to make a difference. But so much of this relies on what supporters like you do. If we're going to make this enrollment period a success, it's going to take hundreds of thousands of folks all around the country stepping up in their own way. You should be a part of it -- simply make a pledge right now to help out in whatever way you can: http://my.barackobama.com/Make-the-Pledge-for-Obamacare Thanks, Jennifer Jennifer Warner Deputy National Organizing Director Organizing for Action | |
