To the Tea Party

My name is Greg Swartz. I am a simple Blue Collar Middle Class worker from the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. I have become politically active in the last few years prior to that I did not follow or even really care about what went on. I now read your post on face book and other media, I very concerned with the direction this country is going. I fully stand behind the "15 Core Beliefs" of The Tea Party. I do have a few thoughts that I hope will help advance The Tea Party if they are addressed properly.

The first thing that needs attention is getting people to vote. I think you will find a lot of people feel this way... "We The" middle class hard working but broke "people" feel we can do nothing to get our country back. The working class feel they can't out vote nor out spend big business or the multitude living off the government. Then there is the Voter Fraud with dead people voting, there are more dead then alive so how can we out vote them? Miss counting, the Electoral Collage, bought votes etc. We don't stand a chance so why bother to vote?

Then there is the general opinion that all the candidates are Liars and Crooks so what difference is it who gets the office? The special interest group with the most money will buy their votes any way! For 150 Years "We The People" have been loosing more each election to Politicians that were put in office by Big Money and promises. Then the promises they made are half kept, while behind our backs they do there own agenda.

So what can we do to get more people to Vote?

1. Some how we must convince them there vote counts.

2. Convince them that the candidate will do there Job.

3. Inform them better about Candidates. The Facts and not propaganda!

4. That there is Hope for this Country!

So here are a few of my own thought.

I love your post on Facebook they are funny and entertaining. Some of them have links to a page with all the facts about the subject! They should all have a link to the facts! We the people are bombarded daily with Half truths twisted to sway the reader! We all know the media does this and more of us would like the whole story so we can make our own opinions.

The Tea Party should put a little more focus on local elections! These are people that are known to the voters. When they get a office then they should endorse candidates for state that they know etc. up the line. States need to stand up to the Federal Government Not bow down to it! I know this is the job of the local Tea Party group. We need to be pushing hard on State Governments To Make it illegal to enforce Obamacare and federal Gun laws. All states need to reword there constitutions making themselves back into sovereign states the way they were intended to be in 1776!

This Last thought is just a personal opinion but I don't think I'm alone in it! It might be helpful to stop making reference to Mr. Lincoln as a great president in some of your post. True Southerners have a much different opinion of Mr. Lincoln. We would say Mr. Lincoln started this mess we are in today. He blatantly disregarded the constitution of the U.S. on several issues! He lied to the People read his first inaugural speech, his second and then read Gettysburg address? Enough on that as I don't want this to be History lesson but focused on "what can we do to save our Country!"

In closing I fear that the Federal Government as it is will Self Destruct in less then 25 yrs, Unless It is fixed fast. Some people feel this may be the best thing to start over with the original Constitution! There is much work to be done to preserve the local and state Governments so there is not complete mayhem if the Federal Government does collapse. The local and State Governments per the Constitution should be stronger then the Federal government so I feel we need more focus on them.
