Diane -- Over the past few months, OFA has been talking to people all over the country about how their lives have been touched by health care reform. Today, we'd like to share one of the stories that moved us. Renee is a mother of three young children who was blindsided by cancer. She was rejected from her husband's health insurance, and several other private plans, because of a pre-existing condition -- leaving her stuck with a plan that had a yearly limit and additional stress that the care she needed might not be covered. Thanks to the Affordable Care Act, Renee now has the coverage she needs. You have to hear Renee tell her story -- then, pass it on to show others exactly why health care reform matters. No matter what anyone on the other side says, Renee's story is why so many people fought to pass this law in the first place. These are stories that need to be told -- watch Renee's story, then forward it along today: http://my.barackobama.com/Renees-Health-Care-Story Thanks, Beth Beth Kelly Deputy Health Care Campaign Manager Organizing for Action P.S. -- If you have an Obamacare story you'd like to tell, you can go here to share your story. | |
