HB1430 to protect the right of farmers to engage in commerce without interference by an over-reaching local government will be heard by the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Conservation and Natural Resources on Thursday, February 14, 2013.

HB1430 was amended to include a reenactment clause that would require the passage of the bill once again in the 2014 session before it would be effective. This is just a ploy to give special interests the opportunity to develop their strategy to prevent it from becoming law.

Please copy and paste email addresses to contact members of the committee and urge them to vote to remove the reenactment clause and send HB1430 to the Senate floor.
