The National Emergency Coalition The TRAGIC "Cromnibus" Bill and The Successful Repeal of a Sexual Orientation Ordinance in Fayetteville AR We told you last week that we needed to keep our eyes on Congress during the "lame duck" session. Our concerns were well-founded.   In an unbelievable move this week, congressional leaders in both parties  joined President Obama to pass a combined Continuing Resolution and Omnibus Budget Bill ("Cromnibus"). Not only did they spend $1.1 Trillion dollars of taxpayer money, but they left Obamacare and the Immigration Executive Order untouched. There was not even an attempt to push back against these two glaring instances of presidential overreach and abuse of authority. Join us on Tuesday to discuss the ramifications of what happened on Capitol Hill this week.  We hope to have a Congressman or staffer as one of our guests.  We will also discuss the successful repeal of the Sexual Orientation Gender Identity (SOIGI) ordinance in Fayetteville, Arkansas.  Ordinance 119 would have given men and women the right to ignore their biological gender and use the public restroom that matches their declared "gender-identity."   That means a grown man could lawfully enter the women's restrooms by simply declaring that he identifies as a woman. Fayetteville is known as a liberal city, but the city council's ordinance was overturned by 52% of the voters. There will be a series of such ordinances introduced around the country next year, and we will fight every one of them.   Finally we will outline some of our achievements this year and what we hope to accomplish next year.
