Happy Monday! Theodore Dalrymple is a remarkable British prison doctor and a prolific writer on cultural decline and what can restore a culture. He was recently in Washington, D.C. where I was honored to meet and video interview him for this Daily Caller Leader series! He discusses how progressive ideology, at the heart of many political policies, programs and ideas, are really dehumanizing and foolhardy. Different from a political person, he explains why, as a psychiatrist with deep compassion, we need to change course.
May I add, he also made me realize why I can no longer blame anything but myself for some of my own issues!

Ginni P.S. More and more citizens are realizing that the Republican Congress won't listen to the message from the last election. To many demoralized citizens, when Republicans took control of Congress, we expected them to aggressively stop President Obama’s transformative policies, not order new draperies and sing "Kumbayah" with the Democrats as they grow government and pick winners and losers in Washington. Thankfully, a group of 113 citizen leaders issued a new “Interim Assessment” of the 114th Republican Congress to encourage a course correction to stop the eroding rift between Republican leaders and their base. It can be seen on this Facebook page and may be discussed elsewhere throughout the week.
