Seven years ago when I got my start in grassroots organizing, I quickly learned how to talk about why this work is so important -- and I went right out and started having conversations. That's still at the heart of what I do every day: talk to people, tell them why this movement is so important to me, and why I'm involved. What helped hook me was that getting started was so simple -- the resources were right there for me. The final push for health care enrollment couldn't be more important.
