2. House Speaker Boehner can't rule out Homeland Security Department shutdown - Associated Press

House Speaker John Boehner is refusing to rule out a potential shutdown at the Department of Homeland Security because of a congressional impasse over funding...When questioned by reporters on Thursday, the Ohio Republican refused to repeat past assurances that the department would stay open.

3. Poll: Majority wants ObamaCare subsidies to survive Supreme Court - The Hill

A vast majority of Americans think lawmakers should take steps to secure healthcare subsidies if the Supreme Court rules against subsidies included in ObamaCare this summer. Sixty-three percent supports a plan to keep federal subsidies for plans purchased through the federal exchange flowing, even if they are ruled illegal in the upcoming case, King v. Burwell, according to a poll released Wednesday by Morning Consult.
