Diane -- Millions of Americans now have health insurance because of Obamacare. That's something I never get tired of saying. But think about this: 5.7 million more could have access to affordable coverage today, if it weren't for 24 states playing political games. One of the ways the Affordable Care Act provides better access to health care is by expanding Medicaid for millions of Americans. These two dozen states refused to do it, even though it means helping their own people -- all because they don't like Obamacare. If you think that's wrong, we need you to be part of this fight -- add your name to stand up to the states putting politics over people. This is something that really shouldn't be controversial. It fills an existing gap in access to affordable coverage available to working families. These 5.7 million Americans got left behind through no fault of their own -- just because they live in a state where their leaders are standing in the way of something that would help them. The good news is it doesn't have to continue this way. In some of these states, we have a real chance to win this fight in the coming months. This is about showing these stubborn state leaders that there are no political points to be won by keeping millions of people from getting health insurance. Add your name to join the fight to bring Medicaid expansion to every state: http://my.barackobama.com/People-Over-Politics Thanks, Jon Jon Carson Executive Director Organizing for Action | |
