CBS reporter known for Benghazi, Fast & Furious coverage resigns Sharyl Attkisson, a CBS News investigative journalist who has been active in covering the aftermath of the Benghazi terror attacks and the Fast & Furious scandal, announced on Monday that she had resigned from the network. The resignation came as a surprise for most, though Politico reports Attkisson had grown increasingly frustrated with a leftist bias at CBS.
