| I've been speaking to Republican and conservative activists for YEARS about Corey Stewart's true record in Prince William County. It hasn't made me popular in some circle, but I don't care...it's the RIGHT thing to do. Well, after all this time, the word is finally spreading and people are taking notice! The truth is getting out. I am so grateful for John Fredericks,a syndicated morning drive radio talk show host in Baltimore, Washington D.C & Virginia Beach, who last week got the story out about the real Corey Stewart. (I like John's kind consideration, "gaping holes" - I would have called something you find in the behind a bull in the field)
STEWART'S FUZZY TAX MATH - "When is a tax increase not a tax increase? When Corey Stewart says it's not."(EXACTLY, just like Barack Obama who tried to tell us Obamacare was going to save me money)
- "Stewart, who voted to raise the Prince William County property tax millage rate as recently as 2011, when questioned, said it was a moot point because many county homeowners' total property taxes were lower year over year." (Once again, I'm thinking of that bull in the field - this guy is crazy - since Corey's been elected Real Property Tax Revenue has increased 52.3%)
- "But this is arithmetic that would get a failing middle school grade. To celebrate a lower tax bite in spite of an increase in the mill rate due to one's home value being decimated is hardly a homeowner's bonanza. The tax rates went up." (No one has ever suggested Corey is the sharpest tack in the box, but he does know how to lie and twist fact for political gain)
- "My issue is telling the truth to our listening audience. Stewart voted to raise taxes. Why not just admit it and defend the vote? Stewart's alternative argument of two plus two equals one is intellectually assaulting and somewhat maddening."(EXACTLY - we must have elected leaders who are willing and able to tell us the truth, that's my issue with Corey...he has a pattern over many, many years of lying for political gain)
The email that I sent out last week and the other day got responses from all over the state and it was refreshing because people were finally starting to connect the dots! Instead of calling me a fraud and a fake (like Corey's staunchest supports have done for years), people were THANKING ME for spreading the word and sticking to the FACTS! Most of you probably don't know this but I am a former U.S. Marine, a Vietnam veteran. I love this country now just as much (if not more) as I did when I took the Oath to defend it from all enemies foreign and domestic. I love this Commonwealth and Prince William County because it's where I have raised my kids and started my own business. That is why I am taking the time to send these emails about Corey's true record. I have been an outspoken critic of his political machine and it's made me unpopular with some folks....challenging the machine typically does that. But the message was getting out and that's because I'm a CPA, not a marketing guru. But FINALLY, FINALLY, FINALLY John Fredericks has gotten a taste of what I've been dealing with for years. And now Corey thinks he's going to run and win Lt. Governor and perhaps Governor because of his big lies - I DON'T THINK SO - NOT UNDER MY WATCH!
