Ryan Budget Proposal a Much Needed Rx to Save the Teetering Medicare Program
By: 60 Plus Association

The 60 Plus Association, the nation's largest conservative seniors organization and acknowledged alternative to the liberal AARP, announced its endorsement of the budget produced this week by House Budget Chairman Paul Ryan (R-WI), which balances the nation's books in 10 years, simplifies the tax code, and reforms Medicare for future retirees. Democrats Come Up Short In Sequestration Standoff
By: Brian Beutler

It's been nearly three weeks since President Obama issued the sequestration order. Across the country, newspapers carry reports of furloughs, airport closings, children kicked out of Head Start.
