Fellow Conservatives:

This is U.S. Senator Jim DeMint and I'm writing to ask for your help.

Richard Mourdock -- the Republican nominee for U.S. Senate in Indiana -- is under attack and the race has become a toss-up. Conservatives must take action right now to fight back.

Harry Reid's super PAC has launched $400,000 in TV ads attacking Richard Mourdock. They're filled with the usual garbage about how being conservative makes Mourdock extreme.

I've met with Richard Mourdock several times and gotten to know him personally. He's not extreme. He's a steady, principled leader who deeply cares about the future of this country.

Please help Mourdock fight back by making a contribution of $25 or more to his campaign.

It might not sound like much, but if everyone reading this e-mail does their part and pitches in, I promise you it will be enough.

The Senate Conservatives Fund has tens of thousands of members like you who can decide the outcome of this race.

Richard Mourdock's opponent -- Congressman Joe Donnelly -- is your typical Washington liberal. In his six years in Congress, Joe Donnelly has never met a bailout he didn't like and has voted repeatedly to expand the size and scope of government.

Joe Donnelly is trying to fool Hoosiers into believing he's independent, but he voted for Obamacare, the stimulus, and the Wall Street bailout. That's not independent; that's extreme.

An army of freedom-loving Americans helped Richard Mourdock win the Republican primary and that same army must stand with him all the way to Election Day.

Please answer this call today and make a contribution to Richard Mourdock's campaign.

He will receive 100% of the money designated for his campaign. SCF will pay all processing expenses.

Thank you for continuing to fight for America's future. You're shaking up the establishment and changing the Senate one race at a time.

Respectfully,

Jim DeMint
United States Senator
