Latest from LaRouche

The Al Qaeda Executive

December 15, 2012 • 8:19PM
Financed and used by the British-Saudi Empire, Al-Qaeda has been protected under the Obama administration to accomplish the Empire's of global war. In this feature we document President's Obama's use of Al-Qaeda networks to overthrow Ghaddafi in Libya, the attempt to overthrow Bashar al-Assad in Syria, who were the same forces who attacked the U.S. consulate in Benghazi.

Russia, Brazil, China Insist Syria's Sovereignty Must Be Respected

December 16th, 2012 • 8:46 AM

Vladimir Putin.
Russian and Brazilian Presidents Vladimir Putin and Dilma Rousseff jointly insisted yesterday that a ceasefire and dialogue between the Syrian government and all opposition forces under the terms of the June 30 Geneva Accord is urgent. The two Presidents warned that there is no military solution to this conflict, and intervention by a foreign force could bring about unforeseeable consequences for stability in the Middle East, and for regional peace and security. The joint communiqué issued after talks in Moscow, insisted that on the basic principles of international law, "The Presidents of Brazil and Russia affirm their adherence to the sovereignity, independence, national unity and territorial integrity of Syria."
The same adamant rejection of the British Empire's insistence on war and the end of sovereignty was delivered from Beijing on the same day. Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei reiterated that China is watching changes in the Syrian situation closely, and urged all parties in Syria to immediately declare a ceasefire and start a political transition process on the basis of the Geneva accord. A political solution will best meet the fundamental interests of the Syrian people, he said, and will be in line with the common interests of the international community.

Iran's Armed Forces Chief of Staff Warns of World War

General Hassan Firouzabadi.
December 17th, 2012 • 10:01 AM
According to AFP, Iran's armed forces chief of staff on Saturday warned Turkey over its plans to deploy U.S.-made Patriot missiles, saying the move was part of a Western plot to "create a world war."
"The Patriot (missiles) are threatening. Each one of them is a black dot on the map, (setting the stage) to create a world war," General Hassan Firouzabadi told the top brass at a military college, ISNA news agency reported.
"The Western countries seeking to deploy the missile batteries on the Turkey-Syria border are devising plans for a world war.
"This is very dangerous for everyone, and even for the future of Europe," he said. "A veteran military man and analyst can easily see this and predict the future."

Escalate on Impeachment!

December 15th, 2012 • 7:37 PM
by Diane Sare, on behalf of the LaRouche Policy Committee
Susan Rice’s abrupt withdrawal of her nomination for Secretary of State indicates that President Obama is having trouble keeping the lid on the story of what actually happened on September 11, 2012 in Benghazi, and cannot afford the release of damning new information which could surface in confirmation hearings of Ambassador Rice. The significance of Benghazi is not simply the outrageous deaths of four Americans, but the emerging evidence that Obama has been supporting Al Qaeda, on behalf of Al Qaeda’s British-Saudi masters, even as he was trumpeting his victory in killing Osama Bin Laden.
Supporting Al Qaeda is certainly grounds for impeachment. In Obama’s case many impeachable offenses have been committed, but the issue which must be understood is that delaying this necessary impeachment could cost us civilization.
As Lyndon LaRouche correctly forecast over a year ago, the murder of Qaddafi while he was already in custody, indicated an intent to move quickly toward a thermonuclear showdown with Russia and China, using the crisis in Syria for that purpose. The British Empire is trying to blackmail Russia and China into submitting to the Queen’s anti-sovereignty, anti-progress, green agenda and collapse along with the trans-Atlantic economies which are in meltdown mode and heading toward potentially ungovernable chaos.
Russia and China have refused to back down, so now NATO has decided to equip Turkey with Patriot Missiles, supposedly for “defense,” but everyone knows, including the US Senate, that this will lead to a no-fly zone, which is the beginning of war. Russia has a significant naval base in Syria, and does not support the replacement of Assad with Al Qaeda terrorists, so military action in this theatre will not be Turkey vs Syria, but NATO (read USA) vs Russia. That is the end of civilization, and perhaps the extinction of life on this planet.
The ever-lying Susan Rice has been an accomplice to Obama in creating this showdown, and the fact that he has had to drop her nomination indicates his fear of the potential for the truth to come out. This is why it is imperative that we escalate now! From the hideous injustice of Benghazi, to the criminal lack of response (still!) to the devastation of New York and New Jersey wreaked by Sandy, to the planned murderous cuts in Social Security and Medicare, Americans have had enough.
We have a moment of opportunity, not to mention also a grave danger, so join the mobilization to impeach Obama now!

Food Price Hyperinflation Set to Explode Under Production Breakdown—Crop Failures, Culling Herds—From Killer Policies

December 16th, 2012 • 8:36 AM
An explosion in food prices is set for 2013, from the dynamics of breakdown in agriculture production, and deliberate policies to further scarcity by the Obama Administration, in line with the London imperial crowd. A snapshot overview is seen in year-end statements from farmers and food processors. A few examples are given below.
Contrast this picture of reality, with the statements of Bernanke, Carney, Obama et al., of how a little "growth inflation" will be good for you, and you see the genocide-intent now in play in the Transatlantic quantitative easing and austerity bludgeoning.
WHEAT PRICES EXPECTED TO CLIMB 20% BY JUNE, because of drought impact from the U.S. to Russia, and absence of U.S. government action. This view was released Dec. 10 from Australia, a major source of wheat exports, from the Canberra-based Australian Bureau of Agricutlural and Resource Economics and Sciences.
BEEF PRICES will soar, above even current rising levels. For example, JBS S.A., the leader in globalized beef processing (headquartered in Brazil), issued its 2013 forecast Dec. 6. JBS CEO Wesley Batista said that he sees that world beef output could fall 6 percent in 2013 from this year; cattle prices will go up 20 percent. The US Department of Agriculture has noted that the retail price of steak in the U.S. has jumped 19% already in the last two years. (from meatpoultry.com)
"2013 DAIRY OUTLOOK: IS THERE ENOUGH MILK?" is the headline this week, on an AgWeb.com (Farm Journal) article. "Shrinking global milk supplies have the potential to drive dairy prices higher in 2013..."The big question for now is whether there's enough milk to meet the world's needs after a year of drought, soaring feed costs and shrinking milk output." The related dynamic, is the deliberate stand-aside by the Obama Administration and Congress, on acting to put price floors for dairy farmers, and price controls for consumers. In California—the biggest U.S. dairy state, hundreds of family-run big milking herd operations are shutting down, unable to continue under the financial chaos, with expenses exceeding income. This will leave a few mega-milk factories, in the Wal-Mart-style cartel league, soaring domestic prices, and more focus on production-for-world-markets.
As of September, the U.S. milk output fell, as of same time in 2011, which drop ended the increase in milk output which had prevailed non-stop for 31 months straght. In October, California milk output fell a huge 3.5% from eayr-earlier volume; Texas fell by 5%. This is a big deal; it takes years to build up a high-producing dairy herd. The drop indicates severe culling.
U.S. FARMLAND PRICES ROSE 15+% EACH YEAR, for that last three years, under the chaotic conditions now slamming agriculture, which needs reliability year-to-year, to function, not boom and bust. The price of an acre of farmland in Iowa spiked almost 24% from 2011 to 2012. An acre in a rural field can now go for $10,000, which sold for $2,500 only a few years ago. A report on this was released Dec. 11 by Iowa State University.
U.S. FERTILIZER PRICES ROSE 30% in 2011. The baseline NPK (nitrogen, phosphate, potassium) expenses for farmers jumped last year.
