| Diane -- Think about how 2013 could have gone without people like you, fighting for progress. Who knows how far the extreme crew that shut down the government would have gotten? Or how many people would still believe lies about Obamacare because of the millions spent against it? Who knows if states like Illinois, Hawaii, New Mexico, New Jersey, California, Minnesota, Delaware, and Utah would have made marriage equality the law of the land? That's why grassroots organizing matters -- not just in years with big elections. This work matters every single day. Our crucial last fundraising deadline of the year is at midnight on December 31st, and we need your help. Can you chip in $5 or more today and help fund this work? Here's what our records associated with this email address show right now: -- OFA status: Active supporter (Thanks!) -- Donor: Pending -- Suggested donation: $5 We've got big plans for next year. People will still have three months to enroll in health care -- we've got to make sure they have the facts. Congress absolutely has to pass comprehensive immigration reform. And we'll be fighting across the country for action on climate change, gun violence prevention, and economic inequality, too. There are more than 4 million of us. If we each step up to do our part, I wouldn't want to be the other side next year. Do your part today -- chip in $5 or more before the critical fundraising deadline: https://donate.barackobama.com/December-31 Thanks, Lindsay Lindsay Siler National Director of Issue Campaigns Organizing for Action ---------------- If you've made a donation in the last 24 hours that isn't reflected above, don't worry -- it may still be processing. Thanks for your support. | |

| Robert -- Let me start by saying this: Thanks for all you do. We ask a ton of you, and I'm not ashamed of it. Progress doesn't happen on its own. It takes all of us pitching in what we can, when we can -- whether it's your time, a donation, or just your voice. You and I both know -- there's more to do. That's why I'm asking you to step up before OFA's critical fundraising deadline on December 31st -- here's the record we have on file with this exact email address: -- OFA status: Active supporter (Thanks!) -- Donor: Pending -- Suggested donation: $5 This has been a banner year for progress -- and that's no accident. We won outright victories -- the defeat of extreme efforts to limit women's rights in Albuquerque, the Supreme Court's historic ruling for marriage equality in June, the EPA's new limits on carbon pollution from coal plants, and the more than 1 million Americans who've signed up and are getting insurance through health exchanges thanks to Obamacare. And we are closer today than ever before to winning comprehensive immigration reform, and an end to workplace discrimination against LGBT Americans. None of that would be possible without people like you, organizing and making your voices heard. We all know there's much more to do to get those fights across the finish line, and to make more progress. The truth is our well-funded opponents aren't going away. The extreme members of Congress who forced a government shutdown are dedicated to blocking progress on immigration reform and paying the nation's bills. The Koch brothers and their allies are still spending millions to slander Obamacare, and spread myths about the law. I'll end this just by saying: We need you to be part of this. These big deadlines are how we find out just how strong we are for the fights ahead. Donate $5 or more before our critical deadline -- and let's start next year strong: https://donate.barackobama.com/December-31 Thanks, Lindsay Lindsay Siler National Director of Issue Campaigns Organizing for Action P.S. -- This week, we're highlighting every supporter who steps up before the fundraising deadline by putting their name on the Donor Wall on BarackObama.com. Chip in now, and check back to find your name. ---------------- If you've made a donation in the last 24 hours that isn't reflected above, don't worry -- it may still be processing. Thanks for your support. | |

| Robert -- Right around this time of year, you see a whole lot of "Top 10" lists. I can't resist offering my opinion -- so here's mine. The Top 10 Reasons to Donate to OFA Before Our Year-End Deadline. (Of course you can skip this and just donate right now, too.) 10. Millions of Americans voted for President Obama's agenda in 2012 -- OFA is hard at work, organizing at the grassroots level, to make sure we get the job done. 9. Sometimes we do stuff that annoys the other side. When House Speaker John Boehner let the government shut down, we took over his Facebook page. That stuff pays off -- it's not a coincidence that he finally stood up to the extreme voices earlier this month and helped pass a bipartisan budget. 8. We make sure climate change deniers in Congress feel the heat (get it?). These are the people who are preventing meaningful action from Congress on one of the most important issues of our time. We're not letting them get away with denying what 97 percent of scientists believe is true. 7. The Koch brothers are spending millions to try and dismantle Obamacare -- we're fighting back to make sure the law is a success. This one's a no-brainer -- whose side are you on? 6. We get local, too. In 2013, OFA volunteers joined coalitions on the ground to help bring marriage equality to Illinois, raise the minimum wage in New Jersey, and protect women's rights in Albuquerque. In 2014, we'll be taking on marriage equality in Oregon and gun violence prevention laws in Washington, among many others. 5. This organization as we know it started on the backs of napkins at a sandwich shop in January. That's where OFA executive director Jon Carson started planning to make the biggest grassroots movement in politics a perpetual force to be reckoned with. Now we have more than 100 staffers, tens of thousands of volunteers, and more than 4 million people committed to action across the country. 4. OFA is an entirely grassroots-funded organization. We don't take money from corporations or shadowy secretive groups -- we're driven by our members who chip in what they can, when they can. 3. From now until the end of the year, we'll recognize every person who chips in by putting their name on the Donor Wall on BarackObama.com. 2. OFA is in this for the long haul. We're training hundreds of progressive organizers next spring, who will go out and change the world for the better. 1. When you chip in today, you'll be building this organization right from the start. Plus a bonus reason: It really freakin' matters. Progress isn't possible without supporters like you stepping up to do your part. Robert -- we need you on the team. Chip in $5 or more today: https://donate.barackobama.com/December-31 Thanks so much, Kathy Kathy Gasperine Development Director Organizing for Action ---------------- The other side will spend millions to maintain the status quo. We're fighting for change -- chip in $5 or more to support OFA today. | |

| Friend -- When we launched OFA, we knew we had our work cut out for us. We knew that opponents were lined up to try to take us down -- to stop the progress we're fighting for. They probably even thought they would beat us. What people like you have proven all year long is that, when we each do our part, this grassroots movement can take on anyone. That's what makes fundraising deadlines so important. They're our chance to go on offense. We're facing a big deadline this Tuesday -- there are just a few days to become a 2013 founding member. Chip in $5 or more right now, before our critical fundraising deadline on December 31st. They can try to scare people away from getting health insurance. They can force a government shutdown when they don't get their way trying to derail Obamacare. They can be a roadblock on immigration reform, and fight tooth and nail against marriage equality everywhere they get the chance. They've done all of that, and more. But don't let anyone confuse that for actually winning these fights. Every day, thousands of Americans are signing up to get health coverage, many for the first time ever. The extreme lawmakers who caused the shutdown were shut down this month when they talked about doing it again -- and a long-term budget passed Congress. It's not a matter of if we'll pass immigration reform -- it's when. And on marriage equality ... eight more states made it the law of the land this year. That's progress that will never be taken away. That's the power of organizing. Without people like you, progress simply isn't possible. When 2014 starts in five days, I want to know we'll have the resources we need to keep this change coming. That depends on what you do today. Chip in $5 or more right now: https://donate.barackobama.com/December-31 Thanks, Jon Jon Carson Executive Director Organizing for Action ---------------- The other side will spend millions to maintain the status quo. We're fighting for change -- chip in $5 or more to support OFA today. | |
