ATP will be handing out Constitutions and promoting our core values at the Irish Festival on the Alexandria waterfront all day Saturday, August 8th. ATP's recent member survey indicated significant support for interacting with the public, so please join us as we change hearts and minds.

ATP has formed a team to get the 'We The People' Constitution curriculum in more schools. There are a lot of Constitution programs, but this one stands out because of its regional and national competitions. The contestants really have to know their stuff, as you can see from the YouTube video we put on our website -

Action Item TODAY Pressure McConnell to Allow Cruz Obamacare Amendment
From Tea Party Patriots:
We need you to make at least two phone calls today. First, we need you to call any one of the Senators on the following list and ask them to urge Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to allow Senator Ted Cruz's amendment to end the Congressional exemption from Obamacare to come to the floor for a vote this week. Then we need you to call Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to put the pressure on him directly.
Earlier this week, Senator Cruz announced he would be offering an amendment to the Highway Bill that would end the Congressional exemption. This is a bold move and we need to do everything we can to pressure Senator McConnell into allowing it to come to the floor for a vote. This would be another opportunity for us to get the Senate on the record over this very important issue.
If we can get this vote to happen, we will likely get all Republicans to go on the record supporting it and we may even be able to get a few Democrats who are worried about reelection to support it as well. It is critical that we make Congress live under the same laws they pass on the rest of us if we are ever going to fully repeal Obamacare.
You'll notice that they aren't the typical 202 DC area code phone numbers. We are using these numbers so that we can track how many calls were made.

ObamaCare may have survived another Supreme Court challenge. But its future is by no means certain. A majority of the country opposes the law - and its namesake will be out of office in short order. ObamaCare's foes should capitalize by campaigning to replace it in 2017 with reform that empowers patients, not government.
So far, three presidential candidates have signed the ObamaCare Repeal Pledge: Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, and Rick Santorum. That means many candidates still have yet to take the pledge and affirm to you that they're fully and completely committed to repealing ObamaCare when they take the oath of office in January 2017.

http://htl.li/OMNQ1 | | | Joel Salatin, Polyface Farm Dear Friends of Food Freedom: During its lifetime, the Virginia Independent Consumers and Farmers Association (VICFA), even though relatively small, has protected Virginians from some egregious tyrannies and in recent years has secured some significant freedoms in our food system.
Many consumers and farmers have benefited from the tireless efforts of a dedicated core of people. I can't thank them enough, applaud them enough, or express my admiration enough.
This little organization, though small, has been mighty in moving Virginia's food freedom needle from the side of tyranny to the side of choice and opportunity. That deserves support. We can't secure these efforts without finances and membership. These two pillars go hand in hand.
For whatever reason, VICFA's membership is extremely low, while the sphere of influence in freedom and opportunity is larger than ever. This just isn't fair. Let me be direct. If we're going to survive and continue to secure the food freedom gains we've seen in recent years, we need you to get off the bleachers and participate in the action. We need you to join VICFA, to rejoin VICFA.
We all know free lunches don't exist. If the number of people who want our Action Alerts would actually join, it would secure our existence and help insure our food freedoms.
