Robert -- Protecting retirement security is about more than Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security. It's about making sure future generations -- Americans who have worked hard and played by the rules -- have a safe foundation for retirement. Join OFA supporters in taking a stand for retirement security. We need to keep those programs going strong -- but retirement is only getting more complex for many Americans. For instance, those who may not have access to an employer-sponsored 401(k), or those that don't have the same access to pensions as previous generations, are being left without many options. President Obama is working toward common-sense solutions to help safeguard retirement security for folks already preparing to retire -- cracking down on conflicts of interest in retirement advice, and updating quality and safety requirements for nursing homes. But there's more we can do. Congress can reauthorize the Older Americans Act to provide critical support to families and communities. And states are already working to create ways for people without a workplace plan to save for retirement. This is work we can't shy away from -- for our families and ourselves, it's important to protect retirement security.
