Accountability

Their constituents voted against this administration's disastrous agenda, but these 34 representatives continue to rubber stamp the White House's harmful policies.
Organizing for Action
Robert --

Last November, millions of Americans in districts all over the country -- from Arizona to Pennsylvania to California -- voted against the current administration's dangerous agenda.

You might think that their representatives, whose job it is to look out for the people they were elected to serve, would have gone to Washington and spoken out against the extreme policies the White House has pushed forward. They haven't.

Time and time again, these 34 representatives have sold out their constituents, voting "yes" on the administration's harmful policies on health care, climate change, immigration, and more.

So we're holding them accountable. OFA is launching a new project to let these 34 elected officials know that their support of this administration's disastrous agenda is unacceptable.

Many voted in support of the House Obamacare repeal bill that would have left 23 million people at risk of losing their coverage. Others voted to repeal a standard designed to keep guns out of the hands of people suffering from severe mental illness. And a number have voted for policies that would drag us backward in the fight against climate change, while refusing to take a stand on the administration's decision to withdraw from the Paris Climate Agreement.

And the list goes on.

We send our representatives to Washington with the expectation that they're there to actually represent us, our values, and our best interests. It's up to all of us to hold them accountable when they don't.

Our Rubber Stamp Reps site gives you the tools to do just that -- get involved and check out the site now:

Jennifer

  1. I get a stomachache from rage when I encounter right-wing hypocrisy. It is absolutely endless. Mind-bogglingly endless.

Whatever MSNBC/CNN/NYT says is a lie. Whatever Breitbart/InfoWars/Fox News/Hannity/Limbaugh/etc. says is automatically the God's honest truth.

The economy/jobs were horrible under Obama and magically turned wonderful on January 20, 2017.

It's perfectly fine for Trump to spend most of his time golfing but they screeched to the high heavens when that horrible black man Obama did it.

All those women who accused Bill Clinton of sexual misconduct were truthful saints. All those women who accused Trump of sexual misconduct were evil paid-off whores planted by Democrats.

Even so, Bill Clinton had an affair so it's OK for Trump to cheat on multiple wives, molest or rape whomever he wants and nobody dare complain.

"There's no evidence to support Russian collusion," they yammer endlessly. Meanwhile they kept crying and screaming in rage after investigation after investigation after investigation after investigation after investigation after investigation after investigation after investigation after investigation after investigation after investigation after investigation after investigation after investigation after investigation after investigation after investigation after investigation after investigation after investigation into the Clintons produced nothing, so they just made up nonsense instead.

"Liberals" (meaning anyone who opposes these idiots) are anti-American traitors, but there's nothing wrong with Trump colluding with Russia to rig the election even if he did it.

Hillary ran an email server which was the biggest security leak ever. It's perfectly fine that Trump gave out state secrets to the Russians.

The Clinton Foundation was an evil, horrible scam despite what anyone else says, but there's nothing wrong with the fact the Trump foundation funneled $100K intended for kids charity back into the Trump bank coffers.

Michelle Obama disgraced this nation by appearing in a sleeveless dress, but there's nothing wrong with Melania Trump having appeared in pornography.

Obama "mocked" Republicans and Fox news but there's nothing wrong with Trump acting like a crying little brat tweeting utter nonsense all day, every day.

Democrats are "obstructionists" now but it was perfectly fine for the GOP to spend 8 years frantically trying to block every move Obama made.

People criticizing Trump are just "sore losers" but it was fine for right-wingers to howl, shriek and bitch and moan endlessly over Obama's every single move, including wearing tan suits for Christ's sake.

Bill Clinton/Obama started military conflicts to boost their poll numbers, but there's nothing wrong with Trump doing the same now with his approval ratings in the toilet (oh, and that's "fake news" of course).

And on and on. Like I said, there is literally no end to the hypocrisy. The bald-faced, shameless hypocrisy. In a nutshell, these screaming spoiled brats believe "Our side gets to do and say WHATEVER THEY WANT. Your side is wrong no matter what, poopy-heads." The "standards" change as convenient (criticizing Obama was patriotism, criticizing Trump is treason).

They belong on a playground, at the kid's table, or sitting on a smacked red ass in the corner with a dunce cap on, not in power or any reputable discussion or debate.

  2. I see what you did, Robert Bruce Alexander. You added a verifying routine to make certain I'm not a robot. I'm not. And I will not be deterred.
