Remember the Citizens United ruling that corporations are people and have the free speech rights of people? Remember the days when Congress used to regulate corporate money spent in elections?
Since the erroneous Citizens United ruling, we have witnessed corporate interest money flooding into our elections. Now a new constitutional amendment is before the House and the Senate that would restore Congress’s and the states’ authority to regulate campaign money, overturning Citizens United.
Whose vote should count more? The American voters or corporations? Please sign this petition now to show that you want Congress to pass the amendment to reverse Citizens United!
The petition signatures will be sent to both chambers of the U.S. Congress to show your Representative and Senators that the people disagree with the Court: corporations are not people!
