Why is this number going ⬆?

Diane --

Take a look at this chart:

For the first time in years, the number of uninsured Americans went UP. It's not hard to see why.

Anything jump out at you?

Maybe it's the progress we made between 2011 and 2016 to lower the number of uninsured Americans by more than 20 million. Maybe it's how many Americans still need coverage -- and how important it is that we keep fighting until every person has quality, affordable care.

Here's what I see: Since 2016, our progress has stalled -- and it's not hard to see why, as the Trump administration and Republican allies continue to sabotage Obamacare.

It's simple, Diane: If we don't get our family and friends to VOTE on November 6, our progress on health care will keep stalling ... or worse.

Here's what this administration has done in the past year:
  1. Cut the 2018 sign-up period in half, giving people less time to enroll. (They also shut down Healthcare.gov for 12 hours every Sunday for "maintenance.")

  2. Slashed 90% of the advertising budget, and cut funding for outreach programs.

  3. Gutted the individual mandate as part of their $1.4 trillion tax scam, leading to rising prices and even more people dropping out.
These are cynical moves, designed to hurt millions over nothing more than D.C. politics. So here's the question: Is this a blip on the radar? Or the return to pre-Obamacare days, when 40+ million Americans were uninsured and there were no protections for people with pre-existing conditions?

Diane that's up to us -- and whether we get our friends and family to VOTE this November for candidates and ballot measures that protect our care.
