Thank you

You spoke out. You called. You went to town halls. You camped out in Senate hallways. You stopped this disastrous bill.

Robert --

You did this.

After seven years -- seven years -- of trying to repeal Obamacare, last night, long past midnight on the Senate floor, Mitch McConnell and Senate leaders got as close as they ever have.

They put forth their "best" effort: a bill that would have raised premiums by 20 percent every year and left 16 million fewer Americans without health care -- and the repeal vote failed.

That happened because you wouldn't be silenced. Not just for one day, or for a week, but for months on end -- you spoke out and urged your elected officials to do what was right.

You called their offices thousands of times. You shared your stories at local rallies. You talked to your friends, family, and neighbors. You gave everything you had.

And you stopped this disastrous, dangerous bill. Here is what comes next: Our work continues.

Back in December, when Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell vowed to repeal Obamacare on "day one" of the new administration, it became clear that this would be a tough fight. And if we've learned anything, it's that House and Senate leaders won't stop here -- they'll keep trying to put millions of Americans' lives on the line for nothing more than a political win.

We won't let our guard down. We'll keep showing up and holding our elected officials accountable. And most importantly, we'll encourage them to work together -- to find bipartisan health care solutions that actually make peoples' lives better.

Last night's vote is an undeniable victory. For working families. For kids. For seniors. For anyone with asthma, or cancer, or a pre-existing condition. For anyone who cares about doing what's right.

So this is my pitch: Let's keep working. We can do even better, but we need your support. Chip in a few dollars, whatever you can, and help give us the resources to keep up the fight.

Obamacare Repeal Vote: Contact Your Senators Now

Americans for Tax Reform

Dear Alexander Lmpt ,

Today is a make or break moment. The U.S. Senate takes the first steps to repeal Obamacare. We either move towards a patient-centered, free market healthcare reform or we get stuck with the unacceptable status quo. Take a moment to contact your Senators now! They need to hear from you today.

This is an opportunity for Republican Senators to fulfill a campaign promise to repeal Obamacare!

When it was signed into law, Obamacare imposed one trillion dollars in higher taxes on the American people. These taxes directly harm middle class families and small businesses across the country.

Every step towards ending all Obamacare taxes is helpful to taxpayers. A "no" vote on proceeding closes the door on tax reduction as well as reforming health care by expanding Health Savings Accounts and Flexible Spending Accounts.

By voting "yes" on the motion to proceed, Senators have an opportunity to repeal the following taxes:

  • Obamacare's Individual Mandate Tax which hits 8 million Americans each year.
  • Obamacare's Employer Mandate Tax.
  • Obamacare's Medicine Cabinet Tax which hits 20 million Americans with Health Savings Accounts and 30 million Americans with Flexible Spending Accounts.
  • Obamacare's Flexible Spending Account tax on 30 million Americans.
  • Obamacare's Chronic Care Tax on 10 million Americans with high out of pocket medical expenses.
  • Obamacare's HSA withdrawal tax.
  • Obamacare's 10% excise tax on small businesses with indoor tanning services.
  • Obamacare's health insurance tax.
  • Obamacare's 3.8 percent net investment income tax on capital gains.
  • Obamacare's 0.9 percent Medicare Payroll tax.
  • Obamacare's medical device tax.
  • Obamacare's tax on prescription medicine.
  • Obamacare's tax on retiree prescription drug coverage.
  • Obamacare's "Cadillac tax" on employer provided health insurance.

TAKE ACTION NOW: Urge your Senators to vote "yes" on the motion to proceed to repeal and replace Obamacare!

Onward,
Grover Norquist
President, Americans for Tax Reform

ObamaCare Alert

FreedomWorks

Fellow Patriot,

In 2015, Senate Republicans sent an ObamaCare repeal bill to Obama's desk. They campaigned on it, raised money off it, and were elected to repeal it.

But now that it's time to vote on the same 2015 repeal bill again, they're starting to waffle. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!

It's time to force the Senate Republicans to keep their promises and fully repeal ObamaCare.

That's why I'm asking you to contact the Senate Republicans right now. Demand they support the 2015 ObamaCare repeal bill today.

Mitch McConnell recently announced that the Senate Republicans will vote on the 2015 ObamaCare repeal bill early next week.

But establishment RINOs Shelley Moore Capito, Susan Collins, Rob Portman, and Lisa Murkowski have already come out against it. And if this holds, ObamaCare will remain the law of the land.

Don't let that happen. Demand the Senate Republicans repeal ObamaCare right now.

For Freedom,

Adam Brandon
President, FreedomWorks

400 North Capitol Street, NW Suite 765 Washington, DC 20001
