This is about people's lives

The Congressional Budget Office just released their latest assessment of Obamacare's repeal, and it isn't good for the millions of families depending on this law.

Robert --

When I was 9 years old, I developed a serious illness similar to spinal meningitis -- it put me in the hospital for months.

I was raised by my grandparents and I would eventually make a full recovery. But when they looked for an insurance policy that would cover me in the future, they couldn't find such a policy because of my previous illness. Not from any insurer. Not at any price.

My grandparents were forced to make great sacrifices to pay for my health care simply because I was a child who had been branded with the words "pre-existing condition."

Robert, no parent, or grandparent, should have to lay awake at night wondering whether or not they can afford to care for their loved ones, and I am committed to protecting every American I can from having to experience what they did.

We have a chance to speak out -- add your name with OFA, and commit to staying involved in the fight to protect affordable health care for all Americans.

Health care is bigger than politics, it's about people's lives, and the chaos and uncertainty that would follow Obamacare's repeal would be devastating for American families.

More than 20 million people have gained coverage under Obamacare, and the uninsured rate has never been lower. But according to the Congressional Budget Office's latest analysis, you could be forced to pay more for less care or you could be at risk of losing health care coverage altogether.

Any effort to improve our health care system must protect the guaranteed protections and care that people with pre-existing conditions and others have today, not take them away.

Over a million OFA supporters have signed petitions and made calls to protect affordable health care -- join them now, and they'll be in touch soon with ways for you to get involved:

Death Threats.

RPV

Robert,

I really thought I would never be writing this email. After passing Obamacare repeal out of the House last week, our Party and our representatives have been inundated by threats. Vile Democrat Party thugs even threatened to kill Representative Tom Garrett's wife!

Don't believe me? Read it from Politico Here.

An Indivisible-type even showed up at our headquarters and tried to force his way through our doors! When staff called the cops on him, the assailant ran but decided to called our office to leave a message. Warning: the recording of the conversation is not safe for work.

The "protester" was dropping the F-word and using other crude language. This behavior by the Democrats is disgusting but, sadly, it won't stop.

I refuse to back down. No matter the nature of the threats, no matter how much the fake news media trash us, I and our Party will stick to our principles. The American people voted for change from the Obama era and the liberals cannot accept that we have new leadership in our nation.

You can count on me to stand strong. Now I need your help: Can I count on you to give $10, $25, $50, or more to help us fight back?

Please stand with us. We appreciate your support and prayers to fight back against these cowardly threats.

Sincerely,

John Whitbeck
Chairman

Glenn Davis's Troubled Tax Hike History in Virginia

Americans for Tax Reform

Dear Robert,

In his bid for the Republican nomination for Lieutenant Governor this year in Virginia, Delegate Glenn Davis has a history of supporting massive tax hikes and Big Government spending in the Commonwealth.

Here are just a few of the billions of dollars in tax hikes he has supported in recent years:

  • Six Percent Sales Tax Increase Statewide;
  • Twenty Percent Sales Tax Increase in Northern Virginia and Hampton Roads;
  • Gas Tax Increase;
  • New Internet Tax;
  • Real Estate and Property Tax Increase;
  • Hotel Tax Increase;
  • Car Titling Tax Increase;

But wait, there's more.

Delegate Glenn Davis led the fight for Obamacare expansion in Virginia. When his colleagues were rejecting the misguided expansion of Medicaid for able-bodied adults, Davis was penning op-eds arguing, "We take the money, or it goes someplace else." Yeah, to taxpayers where it belongs!

Click here to share this information with your friends, family, and neighbors.

Delegate Glenn Davis is not a mainstream fiscal conservative. He's out-of-touch with the real needs of taxpayers because he believes tax hikes and big spending are the solutions to a government run amuck.

Unlike the last Republican Lt. Governor of Virginia, Davis refuses to sign the Taxpayer Protection Pledge, a written commitment to you, Virginia voters, to oppose even more tax increases.

Can you trust him as the leader of the Virginia state Senate? On June 13th, you'll have the chance to decide.

Click here to ensure you're registered to vote.

On June 13th, vote NO on Glenn Davis for Lieutenant Governor. Taxpayers deserve better.
