Right now, "showing up" looks a little different than we expected. Rather than gathering in our communities, we'll be bringing folks together virtually!
Only a few months stand between us and the next redistricting cycle. In fact,
this time next year, states should be receiving data from the Census Bureau that they will use to begin redrawing district lines. All On The Line has a three pillar strategy to show up, educate, and engage. Right now, "showing up" looks a little different than we expected.
As our Training Director, Mallory, mentioned the other day, technology is already integrated into our work -- but in order to ramp up the number of virtual phonebanks, online trainings, and digital advocacy campaigns, we need to invest more money in our digital organizing budget.
If you can, make a donation to the AOTL Digital Organizing Fund to help support our critical work to end gerrymandering. If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately. Right now we're seeing firsthand how progressive values like paid leave and access to quality healthcare are essential. We refuse to let the next decade of progress on these and so many issues be obstructed by map manipulators. With your support, we can continue building this movement for fair maps.
Thank you for all that you do,
The AOTL Team
