Fellow Conservatives:

It's election time and you're probably getting bombarded with political solicitations. But how do you know your money will actually be used to bring about real change?

The truth is -- in most cases -- you don't.

There are hundreds of PACs and various organizations that claim to fight for conservative ends, but very few actually spend their money in ways that truly help the cause. These groups exist to raise money for themselves without achieving any real results.

In fact, one group that claims to support Congressman Alan West (R-FL) has raised nearly $3 million this election cycle. Yet it has spent less than $40,000 helping candidates and zero dollars helping Alan West. It's a complete sham.

However, one organization is different -- the Senate Conservatives Fund.

It's different because it empowers donors with the ability to give directly to conservative candidates -- so the candidates themselves receive 100% of your contributions.

The Senate Conservatives Fund was founded by U.S. Senator Jim DeMint (R-SC) to give Americans the tools to change the U.S. Senate and take their country back.

Working with grassroots activists across the country, Senator DeMint structured the Fund to serve two primary purposes:

1. Identify the most promising conservative Senate candidates in the country.
2. Raise money directly for those candidates to support their campaigns.

To achieve the first goal, the Senate Conservatives Fund established a candidate vetting process to separate the true conservatives from the moderate RINOs -- Republicans In Name Only -- who can't be trusted to stand up for our principles.

This vetting process includes a detailed candidate survey, a full background check on past positions and records, one or more face-to-face interviews, and a thorough political assessment. We confirm their willingness to fight for conservative principles, their ability to win, and their support for several specific policy goals, including.

Cutting spending to balance the budget
Repealing Obamacare entirely
Securing the borders and opposing amnesty
Stopping corporate bailouts
Banning earmarks
Establishing term limits
Defending the 2nd Amendment
Protecting human life

To achieve the goal of providing direct support to candidates, the Fund created a secure website that allows people everywhere to donate directly to one or more candidates.

A national approach was used because more and more people understand that a senator from a state halfway across the country impacts them just as much as a senator from their own state.

The results of this grassroots approach were astounding.

In 2010, the Fund raised over $9.3 million, which was more than any other leadership PAC in the country. But more importantly, that money went to the front lines in the battle for our freedom and carried five candidates on to victory -- U.S. Senators Pat Toomey (R-PA), Marco Rubio (R-FL), Rand Paul (R-KY), Mike Lee (R-UT), and Ron Johnson (R-WI).

This is a unique strategy that is helping conservatives defeat the Washington establishment that wants to maintain business as usual.

But don't take my word for it. Listen to what others are saying about the Senate Conservatives Fund.

"SCF made the difference in my campaign in 2010. While many conservative groups sat on the sidelines, SCF members joined the fight and gave my campaign the boost it needed to win a competitive primary. It's one of the reasons I so strongly support its efforts today." -- U.S. Senator Mike Lee (R-UT)

"The SCF endorsement is highly coveted because it makes such a big impact in races. It's not only the conservative good housekeeping seal of approval, it's a critical source of campaign funds. After SCF endorsed our campaign, we received hundreds of thousands of dollars from patriots across the country. SCF's support was absolutely invaluable in reinforcing the rising grassroots tide on the ground and getting our message out." -- U.S. Senate Candidate, Ted Cruz (R-TX)

And even the liberal POLITICO newspaper recognized SCF's impact, calling it a "wildly successful small-donor fundraising machine".

Now the Senate Conservatives Fund is working hard to send a new group of courageous conservatives to Washington in 2012.

And thanks to the support of tens of thousands of donors, it has already raised more money for candidates than it did in the last election.

But much more needs to be raised if we're going to win these races and continue to change the Senate.

Please join the more than 100,000 citizen patriots across the country by supporting one or more of the eight conservative candidates running for U.S. Senate this year.

Elections are not won with money alone, but many elections are lost because the candidate can't get their message out. You can change that by giving as little as $10 to these candidates. The amount isn't important; what's important is that you -- along with thousands of others -- give something.

And you can rest assured that your contributions are actually going to be used to elect true conservative leaders who will stand up for their principles.

Also, the candidates will benefit in two important ways when you donate to their campaigns through the Senate Conservatives Fund.

First, they will get more money. SCF pays for the credit card processing fees so the candidates get 100% of your contributions. If you give through their website, they will have to pay these fees.
Second, they will know the money is coming from conservatives. This is important because it lets them know that freedom-loving Americans are standing with them and want them to fight for conservative principles.

So if you want to help turn this country around, please give to candidates -- not to unknown groups. This is only way to guarantee that your money is going to the front lines in the battle for America's future.

Please make a contribution to the top conservative Senate candidates today. It will make a big difference.

Thank you for taking a stand for freedom.

Best regards,
Matt Hoskins
