I’m running for governor of the state of Minnesota

I wanted you to be one of the first to hear the news: I'm running for governor of the state of Minnesota. This is a home-grown campaign, born in a moment like no other.

I'm going to tell you why in a moment. But first: Will you help us get off to a strong start by splitting a donation between Kamala Harris's Fight for the People PAC and my campaign?

I'm not going to sugar coat it — Minnesota has been through a lot.

The killings of two innocent Minnesotans. Three thousand ICE agents on our streets and in our towns, sent by an administration that relishes division. Minnesotans stood up. Our state has been the center of America's heartbreak. But we have also been the center of America's courage and America's hope. In moments of enormous difficulty, we find strength in our Minnesota values of hard work, freedom, and simple decency and good will.

These moments call for grit and resilience. I've learned resilience from the people of Minnesota. They have stood up, they have marched, and they have brought food to their neighbors. Through it all we do not give up.

And grit? I learned that from my family. I'm the daughter of a newspaperman and a proud union member teacher. My grandpa worked 1500 feet underground in the mines on the Iron Range, and he saved his money in a coffee can in the basement to send my dad to college. I wouldn't be where I am today without them.

These times call for leaders who can stand up and not be rubber stamps of this administration. But who are also willing to find common ground and fix things in our state.

I led our state's biggest prosecutors' office for eight years and then you gave me the honor of serving as your United States Senator. I was ranked number one in the Senate for bipartisan bills and number three out of one hundred for getting bills passed into law.

I will do my job without fear or favor. I've never shied away from taking on the powerful. That's what I did as prosecutor. That's what I did as senator. And that's what I will do as your governor.

I believe we must stand up for what's right. And fix what's wrong. I am running for every Minnesotan who wants to buy their first home, for every parent who wants a better world for their kids, for everyone who wants more affordable healthcare. I am running for every Minnesotan who wants to protect our democracy and get ICE and its abusive tactics out of the state we love.

And I'm running for every student, farmer, dreamer and builder.

But to accomplish everything we're setting out to do, I need your support.

This campaign is for people who believe in something bigger than ourselves. For people who know that things have got to change.

The American Dream Act

Home Ownership is still the American Dream, but it has been slipping out of reach for young people! We are working on a bill, The American Dream Act, to help with low cost housing availability. This bill will create a 5 year moratorium on capitol gains for someone age 65 or older who sells a rental home valued between $250k and $500k to a first time buyer. The majority of first time buyers are under age 32. This option will not be available to companies and or non-citizens. What are your thoughts?

China: Up to 1 year in detention, fines, and possible forced repatriation.
Australia: Up to 5 years in prison and mandatory detention before deportation
Mexico: Up to 2 years in prison for first-time illegal entry. Up to 10 years if repeated or tied to other offenses.
Saudi Arabia: Up to 2 years in prison, heavy fines, and whipping has historically been used.
North Korea: Severe detention, forced labor, torture, and potential execution, treating such acts as grave political crimes against the state.

Thank God President Trump secured our border. Deportation is not "racist" it's protecting our country. We estimate 20 million illegal criminal aliens crossed our border under the Biden administration. They have overwhelmed our resources and many have robbed, raped, and killed American citizens. So far Trump has deported 2.5 million illegals. That number is not even close to how many illegals Bush and Obama deported.
