Remember this promise? 'If you like your plan, you can keep it'

Dear friend,

Dr. Robert Nirschl is a prominent practicing orthopaedic surgeon in the Washington area who calls Obamacare "absolute insanity" in this interview with me this week. He feels politicians and Americans were duped into passing "socialized medicine." I hope you will take time to listen to this wise man who should be heard by Congress.

According to him, one of the most dangerous things about this law, which Nirschl hopes goes the way of Jim Crow laws or Prohibition, is its erosion of the Hippocratic Oath for doctors. Instead of focusing on "the best interests of the patient," he says, this law makes the doctor's primary focus on that of the government or society.

He discusses the destruction of the notion of insurance, why some doctors are leaving medicine, how that will alter your access to care over time, why the American Medical Association got it wrong for doctors and patients, and much more. Ask your doctor if they agree with Dr. Nirschl on Obamacare!

Watch Leaders with Ginni Thomas:
Dr. Robert Hirschl

Last week: You can still see my inspirational interview with Aussie Nick Adams who pleads for Americans to see our exceptionalism before politicians fundamentally transform our country

Next week: Trevor Loudon from New Zealand on what makes America great and what is pulling it down

Cheers,

Ginni

P.S. Here is my new favorite video on Obamacare.
