Get Connected | A National Day of Service Yesterday, over a hundred patriots came to our nation’s capital to do what our government won’t: clean up our national monuments and memorials. The Obama Administration is playing politics with Harry Reid's government shutdown. Obama is forcefully keeping citizens away from the parks and monuments they pay for. FreedomWorks decided to act. Teaming up with Glenn Beck, Mike Lee, Tea Party Patriots, and concerned citizens from around the country, we spent Saturday making our monuments and parks beautiful again. 
It was a day of service – not politics. We take our country and our freedom seriously. And that means sacrifice when the government fails to do its job. We showed what happens when Americans come together for common cause and to make our country a better place. This was grassroots activism at its finest - dedicated to keeping America the greatest country on Earth. 
Have You Been Hurt By ObamaCare? Have your health care costs gone up because of ObamaCare? Are your hours being cut at work? Did you lose your health insurance? If you are a young adult, will you not be able to afford coverage under ObamaCare? In 2009 President Obama made a promise: “If you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor… if you like your health care plan, you will be able to keep your health care plan….” You and I know Obama isn’t keeping that promise. Because of ObamaCare, Americans are being forced to switch doctors. Health care providers are opting out of Medicare or not accepting insurance altogether.
